XylophoneSeason 1, Episode 1 “The Magic Xylophone”

Every kid needs their own “magic” xylophone. Bluey and Bingo use their xylophone and their imaginations to freeze their dad Bandit into different statue positions. This gift can be used to create their own magic xylophone statue game, or just as a beginner instrument to learn and play basic songs.

Plushies and Figurines

Nothing is more fun than being able to tangibly play with and snuggle your favorite characters. There are a ton of different Bluey toys out there, but I’ve listed my favorite plush and figurines below.

Arts & Crafts

Hours of creative fun await with Bluey-themed arts and crafts! Ideal gifts for any occasion, these items offer kids an outlet to express themselves in connection with their favorite characters.

Birdy KiteSeason 3, Episode 14 “Pass the Parcel”

Bluey fans of any age can enjoy this colorful Paradise Bird Kite. The design is similar to the kite Bingo opens in the “Pass the Parcel” episode. Whether you’re aiming to inspire outdoor adventures or simply want to encourage a moment of playful relaxation, this beautifully designed kite makes for a thoughtful and timeless gift.

Bluey Advent Calendars

Advent calendars were designed to countdown days till Christmas, but they’re actually fun to use any time of the year. Kids love getting to open a little gift each morning whether it’s the middle of December or the middle of June. These two Bluey Advent calendars are very similar but have slightly different figurines and stickers inside.

Bluey’s Escape ConvertibleSeason 2, Episode 18 “Escape”

The Heeler family spins a fantastical tale together in the episode “Escape”, where Bandit requests a “cool car” for their getaway vehicle. The girls later draw this Red Convertible at Nana’s house. Perfect for any fans who enjoy playing with cars.

Playsets

These cute playsets encourage kids to use their imagination to bring their own Bluey adventures to life. I was impressed how much detail went into some of these options!

  • Hammerbarn Playset– Season 2, Episode 1 “Hammerbarn”
    • This Hammerbarn Playset mimics the warehouse the Heeler family visits in the episode “Hammerbarn”. It has four distinct levels, lights up and makes sounds, includes a moveable elevator, gnomes, the pizza oven, and other specific items from the show.
  • Ultimate Lights & Sounds Bluey Playhouse
    • This Ultimate Lights & Sounds Playhouse is my favorite version of the Heeler home. It has furniture, plays over 50 unique sounds including music and character soundbites, displays a moveable dance mode floor, lights, and more. The house also collapses with a latch to hold all of the pieces inside while you carry it around. Note that this set does NOT contain Bandit or Chilli. Only Bluey, Bingo & Nana.
  • Bluey Playhouse
    • This Bluey Playhouse is a smaller version of the Heeler home. It does not have lights or sounds, but does still include furniture pieces for the home plus an outdoor BBQ and picnic table. This Playhouse set has all four Heeler family members and is more affordable than the Ultimate Lights & Sounds version.
  • Bluey Magnetic Playset
    • This travel-friendly playset is small and compact. It contains over 75 magnetic characters and accessories to move around some familiar Bluey background scenes. This playset would be perfect for road trips or just playing in the car.
Bluey-themed Blanket

Make naptime, bedtime or snuggling more fun by gifting one of these Bluey blankets!

Apparel

It’s adorable to me how much kids love to rep their favorite characters on their clothing. You can find Bluey-themed shirts, pajamas, coats, hats, and other items at many websites and stores now that rotate through seasons and styles. These were some of my favorite apparel items for toddlers/kids:

Hooded Bath Towels

Bring the magic of Bluey to bath time with these hooded Heeler towels!

Hair Accessories- Season 2, Episode 11 “Hairdressers (Nits)”

Before pretending to find a nit in Bingo’s fur, Bluey dolls up Chilli while acting as a hairdresser. These Bluey-themed hair accessories will bring some Heeler magic into your kid’s daily life.

Bunny Night LightSeason 1, Episode 43 “Camping”

Night lights would make a great gift for all Bluey fans! They can be used in the bedroom for anyone scared of the dark, or in a hallway, bathroom or kitchen to dimly light the room for nighttime excursions.

Gift this Bunny Night Light similar to the one the Heeler family takes camping. It’s made from a soft, durable silicone that does not heat up with use and can be set to many different colors.

Or order this soothing Himalayan Salt Rock Lamp like the one from Bluey and Bingo’s bedroom.

Bluey Shaped Backpack

Bandit and Chilli carry the kids around as “backpacks” on their imaginary backpacking trip. Your kiddo can tag along on their trip with this lightweight Bluey backpack/travel bag

Pack of Sticky Gecko Lizards- Season 2, Episode 12 “Sticky Gecko”

Bluey and Bingo get a sticky gecko stuck to the ceiling as Chili is trying to rush them out the door for a playdate. Kids will love playing with this pack of sticky geckos of their own!

These toy watches in Bluey or Bingo styles feature 4 games, 8 character watch faces, and stopwatch + alarm capabilities.

Dance Mode Radio– Season 2, Episode 3 “Dance Mode”

Bingo puts her parents into impromptu Dance Mode at the flick of a tail in this episode. Let your little ones get their groove on with this Bluey-themed radio toy and “dance like no one is watching”.

Live Butterfly Growing Kit– Season 1, Episode 15 “Butterflies”

Bluey, Bingo and Judo pretend to be caterpillars that become butterflies in this episode. Let your giftee experience the metamorphosis journey in real time with these live caterpillars that transform into Painted Lady butterflies. This will be a gift they’ll never forget!

Toy grilling set/BBQSeason 1, Episode 7 “BBQ”

Bandit is grilling up some food for a neighborhood BBQ and on the other side of the deck, Bluey is doing the same in the episode “BBQ”. A toy grill is a perfect gift for young Bluey fans! This tabletop Wooden BBQ and Salad Set is Bluey-themed and features several of the items from this specific episode.

Or you could look at grills from other brands like this Stand-up Wooden Grill Playset that is not specifically Bluey-themed, but might have better features for longterm play.

Fingernail Polish SetSeason 2, Episode 15 “Stumpfest”

While the men tear out the first tree stump, the girls set up a nail salon on the other one. This “Piggy Paint” nail polish set is non-toxic and low odor, designed to safely use on even the “littlies”.

Books

We have been collecting Bluey books in our house! My daughter loves being able to engage with her favorite characters even during her screen-free time. There are over 75 books in the “official” Bluey library you can explore here, but these are some of my favorites.

Activity Books
Story Books
Bluey-Themed Games

These cute games bring our favorite Heeler family to life. Some are classic games redone around a Bluey theme and others are based on events from the show.

Heeler Family Puzzles

Puzzles are fun for solo or family play and are also great for development. Here are some Bluey-themed puzzles of varying difficulty for different ages.

Bluey Pop “N” Fun Play Tent

Play tents are one of my favorite gifts for kids! It’s fun for kids to feel they have a little space all their own. This Bluey Pop Up Tent has a roll up door and peek-a-boo windows to keep an eye on your little one while they play. I love the character scenes printed on the sides of the tent. It is such a cute gift!

Cloud Doctor BagSeason 1, Episode 2 “Hospital”  & Season 1, Episode 18 “The Doctor”

Bluey and Bingo spend several episodes playing Doctor with Bandit and later with their friends. This cute Bluey-themed Doctor kit comes in a Cloud bag Bandit is seen carrying several times throughout the series such as in Season 1, Episode 10 “Hotel” and in “Taxi”. Your giftee will love using this set to play imaginary doctor themselves!

Pair it with these Bluey bandaids for a complete “doctor” set.

Picnic Essentials- Season 1, Episode 5 “Shadowlands”

While the kids play Shadowlands, the mums relax under a tree with a picnic. Bluey and her friends race a cloud to make it back to the picnic before the shadow passes by.

For the young Bluey lover, I recommend either this Tea Time Picnic Basket or this New Sprouts Picnic Basket that includes cupcakes like the ones from the Shadowlands episode.

Bug Catcher KitSeason 1, Episode 6 “The Weekend”

Bingo finds a fascinating Walking Leaf bug in this episode and was sad it flew away before she could show her dad. For any young explorers wanting to study nature, this Bug Catcher Kit will wow them! It comes with multiple bug catching tools and several observation containers as well as some other fun items.

Relaxing Chair- Season 1, Episode 7 “BBQ”

Bingo looks forward to sitting in her “relaxing chair” after running around collecting salad ingredients for the kids’ BBQ, which is just a little folding beach chair. Gift one of these “relaxing chairs” to your favorite Bluey fan.

FeathersSeason 2, Episode 2 “Featherwand”

These feathers are an inexpensive gift that could prompt hours of imaginative pretend. When Bluey is invited to a birthday party alone, Bingo makes her own fun by pretending an errant bird feather is a magic wand that can make things heavy. Gift the feathers alone or with a list of feather craft ideas the giftee could create.

Bike- Season 1, Episode 11 “Bike”

Bandit teaches Bluey perseverance when she gets frustrated trying to learn how to ride a bike at the park. Easily one of my favorite episodes! Grab your little one a bike of their own and teach them how to ride.

Dress up Clothes– Season 2, Episode 5 “Charades”

Nana tells Bingo & Bluey to grab a tutu from her dress up box. Dress up boxes are a big part of children’s imaginary play and can initiate lots of creative games. The Heeler family is often seen in various costume pieces as they play! Start or add to your giftee’s dress up box with one of these charming sets.

WagonSeason 1, Episode 24 “Wagon Ride”

Bandit pulls the girls to the monkey bars in the wagon per their request and they love the ride. Your kids can pull around their favorite toys, snacks or other possessions in this retro red toy wagon.

Volcano Making Kit Season 2, Episode 21 “Flat Pack”

Chilli and Bingo frustratedly work to assemble a new porch swing while the girls create an entire world out of the castoff packing materials. At one point, they pretend the cardboard is a volcano. Help your kids make their own volcano with this Ultimate Volcano Kit!

Christmas Crackers Season 2, Episode 26 “Christmas Swim”

The Heelers gather with extended family for Christmas and are seen pulling on Christmas Crackers at the dinner table. I had to look up what these are since we don’t have them in the US and your kids are going to love this tradition! It’s essentially a wishbone, but with a toy or treat inside for the “winner”.

Everyone starts with a Cracker and then crosses, so now everyone should be holding the end of two different Crackers. On the count of three, everyone pulls their crackers apart with a ‘crack’. Tradition dictates whomever is left holding the larger part wins, but you can make sure everyone gets a prize from inside the Crackers.

Face Painting KitSeason 3, Episode 8 “Curry Quest”

Bingo gets her face (and the back of her head) painted and takes on the territorial magpie in the park. Face painting is not reserved for Halloween and festivals. With this kit, you can bring the magic of face painting into your home anytime.

Bathtub Accessories

The Heelers are often seen performing their bathtime routine and it is the focus of several different episodes.

RecorderSeason 3, Episode 11  & Season 2, Episode 20 “Queens”

Bluey and Bingo are seen playing their Recorders during “Queens” and “”. For many kids, the Recorder is the first instrument they learn how to play and is relatively easy to pick up. It’s an inexpensive but fun gift!

Kinetic SandSeason 2, Episode 51 “Easter”

The Easter bunny sends Bluey and Bingo on an epic scavenger hunt for their Easter basket. One of the clues they find is a decorated roll of toilet paper under a castle in the sandbox. Help your kids make their own sandcastles with this fun Kinetic Sand Kit!

Knitting or Crochet Tools –Season 3, Episode 8 “Curry Quest”

Chilli teaches Bluey how to crochet while narrating about quests in “Curry Quest” and Calypso is seen knitting while chatting with Bluey in “Typewriter”. Both crafts are fun for kids to learn! Check out this Beginner Crochet Set or this Learn to Knit a pocket scarf set

These kits would be fun additions to your gift as well!

Car- Season 3, Episode 19 “Pizza Girls”

The Heeler girls and their cousins play pizza shop while learning the pros and cons of old and new cards. Either of these fun cars would be a new favorite for your giftee!

Blanket Fort Building KitSeason 3, Episode 38 “Cubby”

Bluey and Bingo make a new bedroom for Kim Jim that turns into an epic fort covering the entire room. This Blanket Fort Kit will make building forts safer and easier! I love that it’s a portable format, allowing you to travel with the kit or build forts outdoors.
